Quick start

Wishlist, install the demo, and learn the shared mana loop before your first wipe.

  1. 1

    Wishlist and install the demo

Open the [Steam store page](https://store.steampowered.com/app/3736800/Dungeon_Picnic/) to wishlist the game and download the limited demo. Confirm Windows 11 and 8 GB RAM on the system requirements page first.

  2. 2

    Learn the shared mana loop

There is no per-character MP. The party shares one Mana pool. Break a weakness to earn an extra turn, cheaper skills, and better recovery. Details live in the ReAct combat guide.

  3. 3

    Build around four heroines

The demo uses Astrologia, Apothecary, Kannagi, and Aries Knight. Read the character roster and the party-building guide before you spend Star Shards.

  4. 4

Treat exploration as a resource bet

There is no traditional dungeon map. You pick events such as enemy nodes for battle plus rewards. The exploration guide explains when to rush and when to linger.

  5. 5

Track the demo window and Next Fest

The limited demo started on 6 September 2026 and is also lined up for Steam Next Fest from 19 October 2026. Follow dates on the demo news and Next Fest pages.
