Party Planner Tool

This party planner is a set of markdown tables, not an interactive app. Fill four slots on paper, then play. Dungeon Picnic is a single-player roguelike RPG: you command a party of four heroines who share one MN bar. Break an enemy weakness to trigger ReAct and take an extra turn. The limited demo that started on 6 September 2026 only offers Astrologia, Apothecary, Kannagi, and Aries Knight in the first area. Harvester and Samurai have been shown in development posts; their kits stay incomplete here.

The full game is still to be announced. Demo saves do not transfer. Use this page to stop rerolling names and to spend Star Shards on purpose. For portraits and lore start with the character roster. For a cautious first-area order see the early ranking. For Break math see the combat guide. Confirm the PC on system requirements if the planner is the only tab you opened.

Demo roster (playable)

These four names are the demo kit. Roles below are working labels from trailers, store art, and Lapismine posts, not a locked class file.

Slot ideaCharacterKit statusWhat we can say without guessing numbers
Break / mageAstrologiaPlayable in demoAstrology user. Unlimited Meteor spends every skill cooldown. Passive: cooldown shrinks when you Break.
Support / bagApothecaryPlayable in demo — kit incompleteName and art point at draughts and recovery. Exact MN costs and targeting are not fully published.
Front mysticKannagiPlayable in demoMystic clan. Wooden sword with purifying force meant to cut a wicked god.
Front knightAries KnightPlayable in demoMaid-knight look, expected to hold the line while the other three spend MN. Skill list still thin in public notes.

If a table cell says incomplete, do not invent a rotation. Play the demo, write the actual skill names, then edit your notes. This wiki will not fabricate a 1-2-3-4 opener just to look finished.

Do not put Harvester or Samurai in a demo party grid. They are reminders that the TBA product roster is larger. When Lapismine publishes kits, this table should grow; until then the rows stay marked incomplete.

Shared MN, ReAct, Star Shards, and Aether

Party size is four. MN is shared. If Astrologia dumps the bar on a full-cost meteor, Apothecary cannot heal and Kannagi cannot swing a priced skill on the same round. ReAct is the valve: Break a weakness, gain an extra turn, and often spend less because the extra action lands while the enemy is already cracked. Details live in the combat guide.

Star Shards (StarShard in some UI strings) and Aether are run resources you collect while exploring event nodes. They are not a second party member. Spend them on the build you already named in the four slots, not on a fantasy fifth. Exploration bets are covered in the demo guide and getting started.

Synergy ideas (theory, not a meta)

These rows are starting sketches for the demo four. They assume ReAct extra turns and a shared bar. They are not ranked damage.

Sketch nameFour namesMN planWhy it might workRisk
Break firstAstrologia, Kannagi, Aries Knight, ApothecaryAstrologia probes a weakness; others spend after ReActExtra turn makes the wooden sword and knight swing cheaper in practiceAstrologia can starve the bar if Unlimited Meteor is early
Knight pocketAries Knight, Apothecary, Kannagi, AstrologiaKnight soaks; Apothecary holds MN for panic recoveryFirst area is short; a live knight buys time to learn Break colorsApothecary kit still incomplete — do not assume a full cleanse

Skip any sketch that needs Harvester or Samurai. Those kits are incomplete. If you want a ranked opinion after a few wipes, use the early ranking and then come back to edit the table, do not the other way around.

How to fill a run card

  1. Write four demo names. Leave two blank lines labeled Harvester and Samurai so you remember they are out of this build.
  2. Circle who holds the first Star Fragment. Default: the member who can hit a weakness on turn one.
  3. Write a MN order: who may spend on turn one, who must wait for ReAct.
  4. Note one exploration greed (extra enemy node for shards) and one fold (skip a fight to keep the bar). The demo guide explains when the first area punishes greed.
  5. After a wipe, change one variable only: opener, fragment holder, or MN order. Changing all four names at once teaches nothing.

Gamepad is recommended on system requirements, but party logic does not change on keyboard. There is no second human on the other pad.

What this planner refuses to claim

It will not publish fake MN costs. It will not list a full product roster. It will not say the TBA release is out. It will not turn Star Shards into a currency converter. When Steam Next Fest from 19 October 2026 adds a build, recheck kits against Steam Next Fest and demo launch notes. Official art and posts sit on the links hub. Wishlist the app from wishlist so you notice roster patches.

Keep this page ugly and honest. Four demo names, shared MN, ReAct on Break, first Star Fragment on the opener, Harvester and Samurai still incomplete. That is the whole planner until Lapismine writes more.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for demo runs, ReAct combat, and party building.

Is this an in-browser team builder?

No. It is markdown tables. Write four names on paper, then play. For portraits use the character roster.

Who is playable in the limited demo?

Astrologia, Apothecary, Kannagi, and Aries Knight in the first area. Harvester and Samurai are shown only. See the demo guide for what the demo includes.

What does the first Star Fragment do?

SPD +25 percent and act first at battle start. Put it on the member who should Break before the shared MN bar is spent. Combat rules sit in the combat guide.

Why is Apothecary marked incomplete?

The demo includes the character, but public skill numbers are thin. Play her, write the kit, and do not copy a fake heal rotation from elsewhere.

Should I wait for Harvester before playing?

No. The limited demo started on 6 September 2026 with four names. Wishlist the TBA product on wishlist if you want later kits.
